Dear friends, there have been many attacks on WordPress blogs recently, which has led some people to suffer significant losses in terms of blog posts and members. Today we will talk about the best way to automatically backup WordPress to a Dropbox account
First, we have to register a new account through the following link: https://www.dropbox.com/ and fill in the data as the following image shows:
Now we come to the second step, downloading the add-on that will backup the WordPress files, which is called: WordPress Backup to Dropbox. After installing the add-on, we enter the options and link it to our account, and this is what the add-on looks like from the inside.
The options are easy and clear: 1- Dropbox account information: From here we link the blog with our Dropbox account. 2- The following table and log: gives us information about the date on which the backup will start, and the log gives us information about the backup that was done previously. 3- Options: The options show us i.e. we want to store the copy, what time it starts, and the schedule for the backup (daily - weekly - monthly) 4- Blocking folders from copying
In this option, we can block the folders that we do not want to take a backup copy of, and they are marked with a red
