Can the previous decline in profits be considered caused by AMP pages? Or is it due to the inability of these companies to design ads that are compatible with AMP pages and at the same time able to achieve high profits? The other matter is the ambiguity surrounding the issue of adopting AMP as a ranking factor in search results on mobile, as there are two things that contradict each other: The first is Google’s statement that AMP pages are not a ranking factor in search results, but on the other hand, we all know that page loading speed is a ranking factor in Google. Did you know, dear reader, that the AMP page loading speed is four times higher than the regular page loading speed?
So how will Google act in this case? Will AMP pages top the rankings for being fast regardless of whether they use AMP technology? A question that arises strongly in the world of SEO and may be a reason for companies adopting AMP pages despite the decline in their financial income.
