How Google sees moving the site from one hosting to another

In an official post on the blog for site owners at Google, I revealed the latest updates to site transfer policies in Webmaster Tools. These policies revolved around two basic points:

URL Transferring the website while changing the URL address General tips when transferring the website: Transferring the website without changing the URL Regarding the first point (moving the website without changing the URL): This means that you are transferring your website while keeping the same links and the same domain without any changes. This may mean transferring your website from one hosting to another while completely preserving the website links and the website’s domain without any change. Transferring the site with a change in the URL: Regarding the second point (moving the site with a change in the URL): Transferring with a change in the URL may take several forms that we mention to you respectively: Changing the site protocol from HTTP to HTTPS Changing or merging domain names domain.com / domain.net, and so on.

Change the path of link addresses, for example, domain.com/post.php to domain.com/post123.php General tips when moving the site: - Make a plan to move the site and divide your work into several steps.

- Do not undertake the process of changing the site’s domain and also transferring the hosting all at once. Rather, try to divide this work so that you can see the problems in the links and hosting. – Make sure that the time you choose to move the site is the time when traffic is lowest. - Allocate more of your server power to Google to archive your topics faster.
