Digital content conference with the participation of 40 experts

Under the generous patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, and in the presence of several official bodies, bodies, organizations, and an elite group of people interested in producing digital content, modern media, and the Internet sector, the Regional Conference for Digital Arabic Content will be held next November 7 in Amman, sponsored by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, sponsored by the Qatar Computing Research Institute from Qatar Foundation, and Majalati Publishing and Digital Media Company, and with media sponsorship from Al-Riyadh newspaper, Al-Iqtisadiah channel, and Roya satellite channel. Mr. Haitham Masoud Al Saif, founder of the conference, stated that holding this conference comes within the need to create an opportunity for experts and specialists from all Arab countries to meet and discuss possible ways of creativity and inspiring success stories that would contribute to creating a qualitative leap in the size of development, quality and production of Arabic content at all cultural, historical, social and religious levels and other materials whose production and dissemination in specialized ways will contribute to supporting the culture and knowledge of the Arab user by qualifying it within a reliable knowledge base for the current user and for future generations. Professor Majd Abbar, Director of the Arabic Content Enrichment Initiative at the Qatar Computing Research Institute, explained that Qatar Foundation is keen to support this conference and participate in it as part of the efforts of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development to address the shortage in digital Arabic content by supporting initiatives that would advance the Arabic language in the field of science, research and civilizations.

To close the gap that exists due to the scarcity of valuable Arabic digital content on the Internet, by participating in efforts aimed at enhancing and enriching this content.
