In the same vein, Eric Wu, who ran Opendoor for nearly a decade before stepping back from its executive leadership in 2023, launched NavigateAI — an AI-powered assistant tool aimed at construction workers — with $25 million in seed funding. When asked about his motivations, he was candid: "I knew that if I looked back ten years from now and had done nothing in this space, I would regret it."
