Content marketing campaigns are set to grow in 2020

Marketers say their use of content-based campaigns will increase in 2020, and will continue to grow over the next two years. According to a new report from eMarketer, 80% of marketing professionals worldwide say the use of content marketing campaigns will increase. Only 2% of marketers say that the use of content marketing will decrease in the coming period, and 19% say that it will stabilize.

Moving beyond editorial content and social media, more marketers are turning to non-traditional forms of content creation. For example, 90% of marketers say they plan to use audio/podcast in their campaigns in 2020, and a similar percentage plan to use emerging technology like augmented reality. Gillian Ryan, Principal Analyst at eMarketer, commented on the following survey results by saying: “Content, when produced strategically and regularly, can be the backbone of your marketing and advertising plan.

“It must be created for a specific audience and shared in the most relevant channel to reach the target audience. “Brands are beginning to realize that content-based strategies can provide information and fuel most of their other initiatives in the field of marketing and advertising.” Content marketing includes creating electronic blogs for stores and companies, increasing the number of articles published in them, and investing in the content of their pages and accounts on social networks, in addition to earning backlinks through guest articles that they publish on other sites related to their fields. #ContentMarketing
